SonyLiv, venture of Sony Pictures Networks India is venturing into Punjabi Movies with exclusive OTT release of Amberdeep, Nimrat starer Teeja Punjab.
Teeja Punjab was released just before third wave of Covid in INDIA i.e on 3rd December in cinemas worldwide with mixed response. Overall film was able to generate revenue of 5.0* Crores with good numbers coming from overseas.
Movie is based on background of Farmers Protest and was one of major attraction. Movie cast includes Amberdeep Singh and Nimrat Khaira in lead while supporting cast includes Aditi Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, B.N Sharma, Hardeep Gill, Nirmal Rishi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Balwinder Bullet and others. Movie is also written, directed and produced by Amberdeep himself and music is handled by Jatinder Shah.
